Welcome to the world baby Rhett Scott Palmer!! 

Tuesday February 4th around 4am

7lbs 8 ounces

Mom and baby are doing great recovering! We appreciate your prayers!


What a fun filled week of Val and Ty updates, baby updates, pictures and FaceTimes. So exited to have baby Rhett part of our family. 


Tuesday our family of four went to the Skate Park. Paisley met another six-year-old girl that was skateboarding and got to try her black top skateboard and Claire went down the hill for a first time on a skateboard. 


Wednesday February 5th Valerie’s 25th birthday! 

So fun to share our love and excitement with her.

The girls and I went to a Releif Society breakfast potluck and then the skate park after that. 


Thursday we got to FaceTime Val, Ty and Rhett for the first time! Got to hear about the birth story and how the first couple days of adjustment have been. 


Friday morning we did a surprise grocery delivery to their front porch for Val and Ty to come home to. 

They brought baby home today after his first Maverick run haha. And Ty already wearing the matching pair of Nikes they have for him. 

I went to a “favorite things” party with like 40 women from our new ward/neighborhood. So great to meet some new friends. 


Saturday morning Brennan had several meet and greets. We went connecting out at IKEA and it was Claire’s first time being tall enough and potty trained to go to the kids area with Paisley. They were so pumped. When Claire learned she was tall enough to go. She jumped up at down with excitement, exclaiming “yes yes yes!” They walked in together holding hands, and it was the most adorable thing. Then they came out with the pictures that they had colored. That night we brought home Wingstop and Brennan and I watched a show together while the girls bathed for an early night before early morning church.


Sunday, we had Ward conference. Then Paisley and I went to the park to play with her dinosaur rocket and enjoy the fresh air. We met up with Yvonne and Jaz and Jax and played outside for a little while. Then we went on a drive together just the three of us while Brennan napped at home. We went and picked up homemade bread from the Caskey’s. Then delivered ann order to Robyn and got to say hi to Dayton. Romney and Taryn came over for Super Bowl Sunday. We had delicious food. Got to hang out, chat, play and watch the game.

We have been counting down the daaayyss! Paisleys 5th birthday party!! We invited all our friends to enjoy an evening of pizza, cupcakes, gifts and playing at the park. I was so grateful for the turnout. Paisley was so so excited. We had a blast and I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. I was stressing since this is our first year doing a party for Paisley, but all the details worked out leading up to it in the Lord’s way so it could go off without a hit. Earning In N Out dinner from library reading challenge-  we read 5 books each together  Got free hot chocolates because it was raining  Happy St Patrick’s Day! Sunday Funday Pic Went out riding on the boating this evening with Shelby, Michael and Kinley. Then back to their house for a delicious dinner of brisket, potatoes and games.  Apple snacks and painting rocks from paints and stickers Grandma Wanda sent us in a surprise package. Sending gift ideas to the Easter Bunny of fun stuffies we saw at the store  Came around the corner to Claire watching Blippi like this. She’s such a ham.  It’s been pretty warm this week so we spent several nights swimming after dinner at the Aparments pool and hot tub. Paisley and Claire love going back and forth between the pool and the hot tub and riding on my back the length of the pool.  Went to SodaRush grand opening where we got free cookies and $1 drinks. Claire’s 3rd Birthday

Yvonne kicked off the birthday weekend right with some new chapstick, paw patrol kites, coloring stuff, and cute dress Claire up bright and early on her birthday morning for her big surprise with her new dress on Received lots of new princess dresses, some dress ups for her bear, a birthday crown. We got to chase around the garbage truck and have muffins on unicorn plates for breakfast. Changed her outfit at least 5 times in 2 hours because so many dresses to try on! Snuggles and books on the couch  Chose chic fil a for birthday lunch and playing in the play place Got a new birthday build a bear with a cute pink shirt  Got the best birthday surprise!! Grandma and Grandpa Harker flew all the way in from Utah to surprise Claire for her birthday weekend! They surprised us in the parking lot of Sam’s club and she and Paisley were both elated!
