Happy 5th birthday to Paisley!! Oh my goodness, we have been counting down the days we have been so so so excited! Brennan took the day off of work so we could spend it all together. We decorated with a paw patrol banner and happy birthday sign with a few presents from mom and dad. Paisley came out first thing, and we say happy birthday to her and she was giggling, and squealing, and so elated. We opened presents. She got some fun homemade cards from Dad, padded, skateboarding shorts, and a blue remote control car. She was over the moon about the remote control car and wanted to play with it all day.
Since it’s her birthday, she got to choose all the activities for the day. We had McDonald’s for breakfast. Grandma and grandpa Harker FaceTime to sing to her and to see some of her presents and wish her happy birthday. That we were off to the Skate Park to ride our bikes and to play with our remote control cars. We were there for a good three hours with the remote control cars, having a blast and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Next step was our long awaited trip to build a bear. Paisley‘s been anxiously awaiting this ever since Claire got her birthday bear last April so we’ve been waiting for this for almost a year. We arrived at build a bear so excited. Picked out the bear then we got to pick out how squishy she wanted it and got to help pump the fluff in. Then they gave her a little heart and had Her press the heart to different parts of the bear while they recited a fun poem for example “press the heart to his nose so you know he always loves you.” It was adorable. She got to wear a build a bear birthday hat the whole time. Grandma Harker’s gift was that Paisley could pick out an outfit for the bear. So Paisley picked out an outfit that was something she would wear ha ha. It was a Pikachu T-shirt, some jeans and a gray zip up hoodie. We got to create a birth certificate with dad and she named him Teddy. Then a picture at the front to top it all off.
We were at a fun strip mall so we went outside and played at the park with Teddy for a little while. Playing tag and hide and go seek. There was a puppy barn across the way, so we went and looked at the cute little puppies in the windows. There were a few that looks like biggie and beans are neighbor dogs, which the girls were excited about. For dinner we had it off to Paisley’s favorite restaurant In and Out. It wouldn’t be a complete birthday without a trip to the Blue Park. A fun birthday surprise with that was that they had taken down the gate around the broken part so the whole park was accessible. So we played at the Blue Park, played two monkeys in a tree, and did more remote control cars in the parking lot. Got to FaceTime Grandma Lestie and Pa at the park.Came home do a final surprise, Yvonne had left a present on the doorstep for Paisley of Nerf guns and hot wheel cars. Best birthday ever!!
