Happy Mothers Day!
Dad made breakfast and gifts
We went to church and Paisley did not want to get up and seeing what the rest of the Primary kids ha ha so I got snuggles instead
Dad planned a fun surprise adventure drive through the mountains, stopped at a cool over look, and up to Apache lake where we played in the water, built sandcastles, and decorated them with collected seashells
Day trip up to Payson. Stopped off and got picnic food at Walmart. Came across a fish hatchery on the drive to our hikes of course we had to stop. Found some fun picnic tables to have lunch at. Got to feed the fish at the hatchery and the girls absolutely had a heyday. They were belly, laughing and giggling so hard as they would throw fish food into the little pond and the fish would jump up and eat it. We got to tour the visitor center where they show the progression of egg to full-size fish at the hatchery. Then afterword we did a 2 mile hike together at the Highline Trail. The girls loved building their own Karen’s next to the Karen’s on the trail. And we found a fun place to race down to a fallen tree and did that several times. And of course, the girls posed on a big rock.
