Friday: A fun filled day at the Rigby Family Reunion. We started off the day with the West Point parade with Paisley dressed in her sparkly cowgirl hat and Claire in her tutu. It was their very first parade so it was fun to enjoy their excitement. Then we gathered at Matt and April’s for breakfast and conversation in the backyard. Paisley and I got to play Mr Potato head together and one of them had transformers accessories. The afternoon was at Grandma Elggren’s where it was all of Celeste’s siblings and first cousins and their families. It was a wonderful day full of games, an epic water balloon fight, a short lived downpour of rain, barbecue potluck, and a lot of laughter.

Saturday: We all got together and Grandma and Grandpa Harker’s house for an extended 4th of July celebration. We all got to meet baby Theo for the first time and the girls got to meet Rhett for the first time. We had a big yummy breakfast, got to swim, play yard games, barbecue, play four square, eat Chinese in the backyard for dinner, and do pop its and fireworks.

Sunday: got to walk to church together. Our family enjoyed a drive around Syracuse going down memory lane with our girls seeing where dad grew up, the new temple, where some of our friends and family lived when we grew up. Everyone gathered again Sunday afternoon for lunch, card games, and a shake trip to Iceberg. Got to do a dance party that night in the driveway with glow sticks, sparklers, pop its and the Encanto playlist.

Monday: so fun filled, we didn’t hardly take any pictures! But we had the funnest day at Cherry Hill. It was the girls and my first time and lots of updates have been made since Brennan was last there. It’s an annual tradition with Celeste, her siblings and all of their families so we had a ton of fun with all of the cousins. The dragon slide pictured here was Paisley’s absolute favorite so we spent most of the day on it taking turns racing Claire and June down it. We also enjoyed the lazy river and tube slides and Little Caesar’s Pizza for dinner. Such a fun filled day.
