 Got to FaceTime Val and Rhett! Grandma Jane reached out to me to plan a fun play date with Sophia, Jack and the girls. We met up at Gilbert regional Park for a couple of hours and then we went back to Jane‘s house for a delicious lunch of chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, tater tots, and hotdogs. The kids got to play with magnet tiles, blocks and a play kitchen.  Then we went outside and swam for a little while, but it was a little chilly so the girls didn’t last too long. It was wonderful Jane heated up the pool for us to play with that day so it was a ton of fun. Then we dried off and Went inside the kids played with the new toys some more and then we had a fun treat of cake and ice cream. Paisley had brought some astronaut and paw patrol costumes for them to dress up and so they played with some dress ups before Heather and Paul got home.  Then we headed out to the chiropractor for me.  What a jampacked fun day. Started off by doing some learning time at home going over the B and finding the different image omit for images. The girls brought out their stuffed animals, and we were really enjoying ourselves. Around 10 o’clock we went and toward the Eagle Ridge in Richmond school. They are a school that offer extracurricular activities and support for homeschooling. We haven’t decided if we’re gonna do homeschool or general kindergarten yet so we’re kind of touring both to see which one we like best. Eagle Ridge was awesome. I really loved what they had to offer so it’s a great option. Then we are right by Dad‘s work so we went and surprise. Brenda and had some snack time with him with drinks and snacks and got to hang out with him for a few minutes. Then we went and did some returns at Walmart. Then headed home to go swimming with Evon.  Happy Presidents’ Day! Paisley was so excited to try out the new skateboard that she got from grandma and grandpa Harker, so we went to the skate park to practice. Paisley tried out her new black top board while Claire wanted to practice on the rainbow skateboard. So we took turns down the slopes and around the kids area loop for about an hour and then they were ready for a break.  We headed over to Robyn’s house where we played with Evelyn and Dayton outside for a few hours. We did The outside kitchen, clay, kinetic sand, the girls played softball together, jumping on the tramp and an outdoor picnic for lunch. Robyn and I enjoyed some fun conversation. Robyn asked how Amway was going so it was fun to catch her up and tell her all the fun, exciting things that were up to.  Then we met up with Brennan after work for lunch and to go connecting out in Tempe and Chandler.

 What a fun filled Valentine’s Day weekend! Valentine’s Day was Friday. We woke up to a sweet surprise from Brennan. He left us each our favorite drink and treat on the counter when we came out that morning. He left me a Dr Pepper with chips and queso, Paisley, some cheese, Pringles chocolate, and a spicy drink, Claire, barbecue Pringles chocolate, and a spicy drink. We ended up going to the doctors cause Paisley had a cough all last night. So she got some antibiotic when we were there afterwards you wanted to surprise Brenda with the Valentine‘s gift as well so we would’ve got Bosa donuts and Circle K drink and went to his work and surprised him. It was so fun. We got to stay and eat our treats with him for a little while. After we’re done, went to the chiropractor then we went and played at the Blue Park. Tuesday we how to play at the Blue Park with Jane, Heather, Sophia, and Jack. Later we went connecting at the Tempe Town Outlets together. Brennan has been looking at these really beautiful watches. He found out that some of them come in men and women’s sets and that you can engrave on them. So one of his fun ideas is to get a matching set and get them engraving when we go Eagle this year before summer conference so we can talk with matching watches. Wednesday, we got some new pictures of baby Rhett with little cow and one of his new baby friends. We went to the Blue Park and ran into Heidi, Eli, Kingston, Maya it was such a fun afternoon. We spent hours there playing at the park driving around our remote control cars. Brennan came by for a few minutes after work to say hi. I wanted to wear the girls out for Jameson’s board plan that night so they would go to bed early. We had dinner together as a family, then cleaned up the house.  Happy Monday!  Girls put up valentines stickers and did our first day of home school-20 min of letter A worksheets.  Baby Rhett rocking Dino day! Paisley asked if we could go swimming so we ended up going swimming at the apartment pool. It was so fun. The girls are so giggly. They are at such a fun age! They would run around the pool, jump to me, and swim to the edge. Both can use their goggles well. Claire wants to do everything that Paisley does. Then connecting in San Tan Village that night. Dad went into several stores, the girls took a nap, and I cleared my Kates.

Welcome to the world baby Rhett Scott Palmer!!  Tuesday February 4th around 4am Rhett Scott Palmer  7lbs 8 ounces Mom and baby are doing great recovering! We appreciate your prayers! What a fun filled week of Val and Ty updates, baby updates, pictures and FaceTimes. So exited to have baby Rhett part of our family.  Tuesday our family of four went to the Skate Park. Paisley met another six-year-old girl that was skateboarding and got to try her black top skateboard and Claire went down the hill for a first time on a skateboard.  Wednesday February 5th Valerie’s 25th birthday!  So fun to share our love and excitement with her. The girls and I went to a Releif Society breakfast potluck and then the skate park after that.  Thursday we got to FaceTime Val, Ty and Rhett for the first time!  Enjoyed fast Sunday. Came home for naps. The girls played with remote control cars. Brennan got a new one so that he could join it on the fun. They colored and went to the park while I caught up on some sleep. Then when I woke up, I went on a walk with the girls while we did the romote control cars in the parking lot. Romney and Taryn came over tonight for brookies and ice cream. We FaceTime the Harker‘s and the O’Neil‘s and they sang happy birthday to me and Paisley, we got to blow out our candles, and open up presents from them. Paisley received a paw patrol hoodie and sweats outfit, Bluey shoes, a nighttime Chase stuffy, Dinosaur rocket ships, walkie-talkies, and Legos. I got some new shoes, a new jacket, some facial stuff and a funny game. Enjoy a fun evening with Romney and Taryn playing with the Legos and talking.

 Happy 30th birthday to me!! So spoiled, so loved. Brennan let me sleep in while him and the girls went to the store to get some birthday supplies. I woke up to them telling me to come out of the room, they started singing to me. They had breakfast muffins with candles in them, 30 balloons, fruit, yogurt, and cute faces. At the end of the happy birthday song Brennan let off a confetti cannon and it surprised me hahaha, it was so fun. Claire told me to “make a wish” so I did that blew out my candles. Received a lot of lovely happy birthday text from friends and family throughout the day. Got to FaceTime my mom and dad that night which was so great to talk to them.  I wanted to go on another hike as a family so we headed off to silly Mountain. As a family of four we hike to the small and medium peaks. Claire did awesome, but she was over it after the medium peak. Paisley wanted to go all the way to the top so Claire and I waited on a bench while Dad and Paisley hiked to the top ...

Brennan surprised Paisley and I by taking another day off so we get the whole end of the week with him celebrating with us! Best surprise ever. We slept in, played with some of our toys at the house, and snuggle and watch some shows. Valerie FaceTimed Paisley for her birthday so fun to see her. We decided to go on a hike as a family and do the “hieroglyphic trail to petroglyphs.” Last time we attempted this, we made it about a half mile in, this time we made in a mile in so progress. We didn’t make it all the way to the top, but we enjoyed ourselves and found a mini peak that we could look out over the valley with. Paisley brought Teddy with us on his very first hike and a cute little backpack. She carried him the whole way.  That we came home rinsed off, changed and headed up to Mesa for a few quick errands. The girls fell asleep on the way so Brad got a new church belt and we connected at boot barn and Bass pro. When the girls woke up, we went to dinner at Olive Garden. Got some ...

From todays celebrations:   Happy 5th birthday to Paisley!! Oh my goodness, we have been counting down the days we have been so so so excited!  Brennan took the day off of work so we could spend it all together. We decorated with a paw patrol banner and happy birthday sign with a few presents from mom and dad. Paisley came out first thing, and we say happy birthday to her and she was giggling, and squealing, and so elated. We opened presents. She got some fun homemade cards from Dad, padded, skateboarding shorts, and a blue remote control car. She was over the moon about the remote control car and wanted to play with it all day.  Since it’s her birthday, she got to choose all the activities for the day. We had McDonald’s for breakfast.
